NHS booking system open for spring COVID-19 vaccinations

Eligible residents in Kirklees can now book their spring COVID-19 vaccination. 

The national online booking system has now opened, with appointments available from April 1 until 17 June 2025. 

You can also search for a walk-in vaccination centre on the website.

If you should have a vaccination, you will be contacted directly by the NHS. This might be by text message, letter or phone call. 

You will be invited to either book an appointment, or you will be offered an appointment to attend. If you are unable to attend an appointment that is offered to you, please make contact to rearrange. 

For people living in a care home or registered as housebound, there will be no need to book. Vaccination teams will be visiting from 1 April. 

Who is eligible for the Spring 2025 vaccination?

To be eligible, residents must be: 

  • Aged 75 and over by the 17 June 2025
  • Living in a care home for older adults 
  • Aged 6 months or older with a weak immune system

  • Online – Book on the National Booking System (NBS)  
  • Call 119 – To book by phone 
  • General practice surgeries – If you’re eligible, they will contact you. Check your details are up to date.
